Hello My Name Is...
Mrs. Beth Jones
My name is Beth Jones. I was born and raised in Walterboro. After getting married, I moved to Gaffney, S.C. I have one son who is in college. I love anything Peanuts as you will see in my classroom and spending time with my family.
I received my degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and Sociology from Columbia College. I also received my Masters in Education from Columbia College and looking to get another Masters in the fall.
Fresh out of college, I was a social worker for 11 years. My teaching career began in second grade. I went to teach high school for a year and found that was not for me. I came back to elementary to fifth grade which I taught for 19 years.
Message to Parents:
I am very happy to be teaching your child this year. Even though it is going to be a very different year than we have seen before, we will all work together to make each student successful.
