Mrs. Bonnie Newton
I am a proud product of Colleton County’s education system. I graduated from Walterboro High in 1991. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina in Aiken in 1996.
I began teaching 5th grade at Black Street Elementary in 1997. I taught 6th grade Language Arts at Forest Circle Middle School in 2003-2004. After teaching 5th grade for 12 years and 4th grade for 1 year at Hendersonville Elementary, I have returned to 5th grade at Northside Elementary since 2018.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Keith, and we have two children, Keith, Jr. and Megan. We have one dog and three cats. Currently, we live on a small farm consisting of chickens and pigs.
